Palacio Real en Madrid España

Here's a little nugget of what soon will become another photoblog. I am currently vacationing in Madrid and have enjoyed taking many pictures. I have uploaded a few to my Spain Photo Set on Flickr if you want to take a peek. You will noticed that those pictures will need a bit of a touch up. They are raw images which I haven't even had time to change the names to useful flickr tags.

Pictured here is one of the many palaces I've seen. This one is literally about 3-4 blocks away from my hotel. This one is called - Palacio Real.

Splashing Fun

These past couple of days have been scorchingly hot! Thank goodness we have a swimming pool. What could have been painfully unbearable heat turned out to be playful fun. At my nephew's birthday party guest had the option to be refreshed by the yummy water.

Hooray finally great weather to enjoy a stroll along the loop magnificent mile. Akthough the people pictured here are wearing light jackets the weather was finally nice enough to bring the tourist out.

Boat Cruising on Lake Michigan

I wish I had a boat, actually I would love to own and know how drive a speed boat or a sail boat. I went sailing a couple of times with people that knew what they were doing. I haven't been on a non tourist boat in a while, maybe someday I'll purchase my own.

Showing Off Some Pictures

Thanks to Sorisa's comments in yesterday's posting I checked into a local news station website and saw my pictures posted. I loved that my picture was the first one in the slideshow. Hopefully it will last a while. Check it out before someone else claims that top spot...
