Night Settings

I finally discovered the ENV setting of my camera and now know how to get rid of that flare from direct lights at night. Well at least I can dim them down a bit. Call my corny but this is exciting to me :)

:) I know the feeling. I hardly even know what ENV stands for! I just to know that I'm still unable to use my camera in Manual mode after all these months! Each time I try to figure out how to adjust the settings manually, I just quit!

:) I don't remember what it means either, but i know I am now a big fan of manual settings, especially for night and action shots. So much so, that I am going to probably take back the small point and shoot camera I just bought.

I got an olympus stylus 300 and I am not happy at all with the setting capabilities. I saw a cheaper fuji camera that allows you to have more manual control similar to my fuji S3000. Stay tuned, going to the store tomorrow, I might come back with a completely different one :)

you guys are so funny! you both take excellent pictures and you say you don't know how to use your cameras! I can't wait to see what you do when you two figure it out!

B&B, ahaha... It's true in my case. Thank God there are editing programs to help, otherwise... Celi, I have a Fuji 5100 (5500 in Europe). It has an SLR look, but only 4 megapixels... There are quite a few 6-8 megapixels cameras un America, and at much cheaper prices tan we find in Europe. Have a look around. Each time I think of Mark's Canon EOS20D I feel like shouting! :))))
