Doctor's Office

I paid a visit to the Doctor's office this week. I was bored out of my mind waiting for the doctor to come in. You all know what happens! The nurse calls you in weighs you and takes your blood pressure. That is only a tease, for soon after you have to wait another ten hours in a small room, where the TV that was in the lobby is entertaining the other patients instead of you. If you can see the faces on the yellow sign, I am the one that is upset from for being there.

Parking Lot Lights

I have to admit that I've been extremely busy these past days and have also been a bit lazy as well. I have quite a few pictures I need to download from my camera and also have yet to post the pictures from Mexico. I thought I'd post a picture that I've had on my hard drive for a little while in the meantime.

I have a bit of a collection of light shots. I'm not sure why, but they fascinate me.

Sunny Cold Day

Today was a colder day in Chicago. It was nice to see that fashion was not forgotten when sporting the warmer attire. This older woman was well prepared with her leather gloves and all.

Artificial Flower

I've been playing around with the settings of my new smaller digital camera. I'm still not used to it, this picture came out darker than I wanted The colors aren't as vivid, but I think the clarity & sharpness is pretty good. What do you think?

Maxwell Street Market

As promised here are my favorite pictures that came from the photoblogger's outing at Maxwell Street Market last month. It is one huge garage sale of EVERYTHING, yes even the kitchen sink. Check out the few oddities found below - I laughed when I saw a bloody Chucky doll. I'm Baaaack!

It feels so good to be home. I've returned home after a two week vacation from Mexico exhausted. I realized I forgot to post the pictures from the Irish parade and Maxwell street flea market outing. Tomorrow will be a long day of postings. I will post a few of the pics from my Mexico trip as well.
