Merry Christmas!!!

My family tradition as many other Mexican households is to celebrate the Christmas holiday on Christmas eve. The family gathers and wait until midnight to open all the gifts. The children are always excited and count the minutes until that happy hour to see what toys and other goodies will be theirs.

I didn't know that celebrating on Christmas Eve was traditional for so many families / cultures. My family with Swedish / Norwegian background celebrates on Christmas Eve too -- but not nearly as late as midnight! That sounds like great fun. :)
